At Sharptail Ridge, we do our best to ensure that our dogs and pups are set up to win at life.

Each of our breeding dogs has a heritage of champions and titles.

Copper

Male — Born 03-25-2019 — AKC SS11270604

Copper is an all around Golden. He has great "inside" manners and often sits quietly in his kennel while giving us the look that says "as long as you are here, you could be petting me". When he is outside, he likes a mix of attention and adventure. He loves people and is very happy to be wherever we are. He enjoys a rousing game of fetch and is very interested in birds. He loves to get his tummy scratched, and loves to romp in our yard. He’ll happily go with you wherever you want to go, whether it is on a hike, camping, hunting, or anywhere! He has a number of master hunter dogs in his background.

Weighing in at about 65 lbs, Copper has a reddish coat, and has a nice blocky look. His pups tend to be a medium golden color.

Marshall

Marshall is a dog who is ready for anything! He is a well mannered and enthusiastic Golden! He loves to play fetch and go for walks. He also gets along very well with other dogs. He has a good nose and is always "hunting" his was across the yard, if he is not walking right at your side.

Ivy

Ivy is an all around type of dog. She has plenty of energy and curiosity for hunting birds in the field, she also has the discipline to be calm and sit quietly to be petted. Fun loving, just a little bit mischievous, and always up for a walk. She gets along well with other dogs, and loves being with people.

Molly

Molly is a very versatile dog. She has very good kennel manners, and is calm and quiet (she often lays quietly with her front legs crossed). Molly loves attention and people of all ages. She also adores hunting. It is a treat to see her transformation to from her laid back inside mode to her intense hunting mode. In addition to being a great duck hunter, Molly loves to swim. She is fun loving, loves to go for walks, and be with us wherever we are. One of her other favorite activities is to come along when I go for horseback rides. She is wonderful at obeying commands like sit and wait even when I tell her that from the saddle. She is so fun and easy to be with, I love to have her come along.

Weighing in at about 62 lbs, Molly is a medium Golden color and is in excellent health.

Anne

If being sweet, kind, and giving affectionate nudges were an Olympic sport, Anne and her sister Sandy would be gold medal contenders! Both of them received compliments on their good behavior by the time they were two years old. They typically greet people by running up to them, sitting, and then leaning forward slightly (I think the lean forward is done just in case the person missed the hint they were supposed to start petting!). Anne loves to retrieve and to play. She is eager to please, obedient and loves people of all ages. Weighing just a little over 60 lbs, Anne is a medium golden color and is in excellent health.

Maggie

Maggie is a dog with good energy that is very obediant. She loves to go for walks, and loves to "hunt" her way around the yard. She is super loyal, sweet, gentle and kind. Maggie loves to retrieve and is very “birdy.” She loves to play fetch and is quite likely to want to keep playing for hours. She has learned that the secret to getting petted is to sit at your feet and give you her puppy eyes!

Millie

Millie is an "old soul" type of dog. The kind who comes up beside you when you are weary and looks into your eyes in way that says "I understand". Scout is a delightful dog. She loves to frolic and romp around the yard and then come to check out how you are doing.
