Testimonial: Tessa

Eric-

I purchased a puppy from you back in 2004 for my wife’s birthday, I met you at the Clearwater truck stop south of St. Cloud. I had lost your phone number and always wanted to get a hold of you and tell you what a wonderful dog she turned out to be.

We called our dog Tessa Marie Frisbee and she has turned out to be the best dog my wife and I could have ever hoped for. She is wonderful around other dogs and children and we could have not asked for anything more. At 5 months old Tessa had a nose for pheasants that first year but really came into her own in 2005 and has made my hunting buddies jealous ever since. Hunting ducks was a different story but last year and this season she has turned out to be a pretty good duck hunter as well and I can only hope for many more seasons of hunting the North Dakota country side as we near pheasant opener next weekend. Tessa has no quit when it comes to chasing birds, her hunt drive is amazing. She is also a well disciplined dog and I wasted money on buying an E-collar because I never have to use the thing. We also did not have her trained by anyone, my wife and I just spent time with her and used what she was born with which is a testament to your dogs and you as breeders.

Tessa turned out to be a darker colored golden and that is what we were looking for, she is also very tall and long. She weighs 75lbs and is bigger and stronger than many of the labs I hunt with. My wife Dana runs marathons and takes her running daily which keeps her in good shape come hunting season.

I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me to pick the first dog of the litter she has made our lives as pet owners enjoyable. If you ever decide to add customer testimony or pictures of dogs once they are adults to your web site, we would be happy to provide one.

Thank you again,
Matthew and Dana

Testimonial: Our dog Louie

Dear Elisa and Family,

I did try to call one time but decided to share about our female Golden Retriever we purchased from you in a letter so all may enjoy. We renamed your ‘Princess’, Louie. There are four witnesses to confirm that Louie was raised in a well-kept barn with her mother, father, siblings and other relatives. However, her name Princess is rather fitting as she does not hesitate to sit herself an anything more elevated than the mere floor, as if she has done this her entire puppy life!! And she is so happy doing it! If we are in a couch or chair, her toy falls to the ground, she will bark to tell us to pick it up for her. Furthermore, if there is something ugly, she will bark at it. She barks at many ugly things and Anthony says that he hopes the birds and deer aren’t ugly at the farm, for she will simply bark at them.

aShe was about 14 weeks when she came to live with us and she came knowing how to sit! You must have taught her! She is such a well behaved Golden. In fact, when we were at your home picking her up, your daughter took her downstairs to wipe her paws and I thought she may have also given her a tranquilizer! She is so mellow and sweet!

Louie stands very patiently while I wipe each paw and remove every particle of sand from her fur before she enters ‘her home’. If she is wet, she sits and licks herself dry. Perhaps this is a trait she learned from her mother!

Of course, this puppy is still a work in progress but we love her already. I thank you all for your care of the puppies you raise and sell. Thank you and God bless all!

Testimonial: Laika Sophia

Hello Anderson family,

Its six thirty in the morning , and pup and I are here.  she is asleep in my lap.  favorite spot is our laps. We get up around five thirty it seems, go out side for potty and play with toys while mom makes coffee.  Then she climbs in my lap when she is tired.  she has an explosion of toys all over which she loves.  We stay in the kitchen mostly.  Its a big kitchen. with an easy chair and a computer.  She is a wonderful dog.  takes to routine very well.  She sleeps through the night, right next to my bed.  No crying.   She is very easy going. Yesterday we went to L and M and she went in with us.  Every one loved her and stopped to kiss her.  She handled it just fine.  no accidents at all since yesterday.  We are getting a good potty routine.   The boys named her Laika which means dog in Russian.  I named her Laika Sophia. ( which in my definition means dog of wisdom) I mostly call her little pup and she comes right to me/  She is a joy,  a delight , a healing presence.  Thank you for her.  I am sending some pictures we took of her sleeping and playing in the yard.  more later

Update: Finley

Hi Elisa,
Just wanted to get back to on Finley’s first vet visit with us. First, I have to tell that our vet was very impressed with the folder you gave us with all the information. She also loved the poem your daughter wrote and she could tell that you were all very passionate, caring and loving people and she could tell you loved doing what you do.
He his getting sooooo big, he now weighs about 42 pounds and is fully potty trained! He has lost most of his baby teeth and is scheduled to be neutered on the 19th. I won’t lie, he’s a handful but yet such a joy!!! Some of Finley’s winter joy’s are as follows: loves the snow, especially when it’s snowing, he likes to jump in the air and catch the snow flakes. Loves to go for car rides and is pretty well behaved in the car. Loves chasing the leafs that are blowing across the snow, sticks, ice chucks his tennis ball and his rubber squeaky plane. He also loves to roll in the dirty laundry in the laundry room and carry up socks to put on his bed to lay on. He his a character I’ll say that.
Although, he is a  busy puppy he still loves to cuddle! I love those moments. He believes he’s still a little pup and still tries to jump in our laps (still working on the jumping up).
Honey and Tanner  sure are a beautiful pair and it’s really showing in our Finley, he’s beautiful!!! We will never be able to thank you enough, Finley has brought back a light into our life’s that was dimmed when we lost our beloved Morgan.
Well better go, we hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday and new year!!!
Sincerely, Kim, Chad and Finley
