Misty had her puppies on Monday morning Jan. 18th. It has been a busy couple of weeks. Misty and puppies are doing very well. One of the first things we do after the puppies are born is color code them and then weigh them every few hours to make sure that all are thriving. It is hard to be certain without checking their weights. Now that they are almost two weeks old we don’t need to do that any more. All are growing every day!!
Did you know, that when puppies are born that both their eyes and their inner ears are closed. I didn’t. But that all changes at two weeks of age. SO their little eyes and ears are starting to open up just a bit and will open fully by the end of this week. I love when they can look back at me.
