Dear Elisa and Family,
I did try to call one time but decided to share about our female Golden Retriever we purchased from you in a letter so all may enjoy. We renamed your ‘Princess’, Louie. There are four witnesses to confirm that Louie was raised in a well-kept barn with her mother, father, siblings and other relatives. However, her name Princess is rather fitting as she does not hesitate to sit herself an anything more elevated than the mere floor, as if she has done this her entire puppy life!! And she is so happy doing it! If we are in a couch or chair, her toy falls to the ground, she will bark to tell us to pick it up for her. Furthermore, if there is something ugly, she will bark at it. She barks at many ugly things and Anthony says that he hopes the birds and deer aren’t ugly at the farm, for she will simply bark at them.
She was about 14 weeks when she came to live with us and she came knowing how to sit! You must have taught her! She is such a well behaved Golden. In fact, when we were at your home picking her up, your daughter took her downstairs to wipe her paws and I thought she may have also given her a tranquilizer! She is so mellow and sweet!
Louie stands very patiently while I wipe each paw and remove every particle of sand from her fur before she enters ‘her home’. If she is wet, she sits and licks herself dry. Perhaps this is a trait she learned from her mother!
Of course, this puppy is still a work in progress but we love her already. I thank you all for your care of the puppies you raise and sell. Thank you and God bless all!
