She went to pre school! A friend of ours is a teacher at St. John’s school in town, and we asked her if she’d be willing to have a puppy in s for one day. She said yes! So we prepared Shammy and a few games to fill the morning.
First Mom showed all the kiddos how Shammy could sit, and stay, and explained to them that you could train your dog to do things.
Mom made several sheets of dog prints and made numbers to go with them, so the kiddos could count the prints and match it to a number. We brought dog bones and a dish, so they could throw the bones into a dish; and we brought a sock, so the kids could play fetch with Shammy!
