“Shammy”

Little Shamrock. She’s been picked out by a family in Missouri and they asked us to complete two months of house training with her. So of course we affectionately nick-named her “Shammy” and donated one of the tiled rooms downstairs to her training. She’s become quite the loved little pet, too! Under Mom’s jurisdiction, she not only gets let out at the appropriate times, but she gets snuggled into blankets for family movies, played with by all and sundry who visit our home, and petted randomly by all who walk past her room. She’s used to house training too! She loves to come up to us to be petted, but she’s learned that we don’t pet her until she sits. She has learned to heel pretty well also.

And tomorrow, Shammy leaves. *sigh* She’ll be flying down to Misouri early in the morning.
